What You Get with Your GLM API Key
Your API key grants access to a hosted, OpenAI-compatible chat-completions endpoint serving one uncensored large language model. The model accepts standard text input and returns text output, supporting streaming via Server-Sent Events and tool/function calling. You can use any OpenAI SDK by pointing it to our base URL: https://api.glmapikey.com/v1. The model id to send is uncensored. You get a 100,000 token context window for both prompt and completion. There are no embeddings, image, audio, or video generation capabilities, and no fine-tuning. You are limited to 300 requests per minute per key with an 8 MB request body limit.
Billing, Trial, and Credit Details
Every new account receives $0.50 of trial credit valid for 7 days, with no card needed. When your trial credit ends, you can top up from $10 using crypto (USDT or USDC). Our pricing is $0.25 per 1M input tokens and $1.00 per 1M output tokens. Paid credit never expires, and you receive a 5% bonus on $50 top-ups and a 10% bonus on $100 top-ups. We do not use your prompts for training, and the only hard content limit is that sexual content involving minors is always blocked. Your key can be regenerated at any time to revoke access if needed.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No, you only need an email and a password to create your account and receive your API key. Crypto (USDT or USDC) payment method is only required when you choose to add funds to your prepaid balance.
What happens when my trial credit runs out?
Your access to the API will stop once the $0.50 trial credit is exhausted. You can then top up from $10 to continue using the service. Your prepaid credit never expires, so you can use it whenever you are ready.
How do I replace a leaked or compromised API key?
You can regenerate your API key at any time from your account settings. The old key will be immediately revoked, and a new one will be generated for you to use in your client.
Is my data used for training?
No, we do not use your prompts for training. Your conversations remain private to your account, and we only require an email and password to maintain your account.
